Call for Student/Youth Curator

We are seeking an enthusiastic high school student who resides on the Sunshine Coast to help organize and promote our annual youth arts exhibition, SHOUT OUT! March 12 – 29th, 2026. The commitment begins in mid-January and runs to March 31, 2026. An honorarium ($150 – $250 depending on sponsorship and performance) for the successful candidate will be provided. The youth curator should have a strong interest in the local arts scene and be keen to explore what it means to be a professional artist and curator. Previous work experience is not required. There will also be opportunities for the youth curator to display their work in the exhibition. This is an ideal role for any student who is seeking to gain work experience, who is interested in becoming an artist or attending art school after high school graduation, or who enjoys helping to plan and coordinate events.

If you know someone who might be interested in this position, please ask them to review the job description and fill out the online application below.
