Join us to celebrate the creativity of our community during Present Tense, our annual exhibition featuring the work of GPAG members in all different mediums and styles. Present Tense began with GPAG’s inception in 2003 and it’s still growing. Twenty-two years later we continue to invite all member artists, makers, and creatives to exhibit their work as a fundraiser for local artists and for GPAG. This year is our biggest Present Tense exhibition yet and you will find works of over 140 artists in all different mediums and styles, including paintings, drawings, prints, pottery, photography, textiles, sculpture, wood working, and much more. There is truly something for everyone!

 For the second year in a row, we have programmed the exhibition in our busiest summer season to generate more exposure for our artists, highlighting the vibrant arts community here on the Sunshine Coast for all who visit. We have also once again partnered with the Coast Cultural Alliance’s Purple Banner Studio Program to highlight artists in the community who open their studios to guests.

Plus, don’t wait to peruse the Members’ Tiny Exhibition in Joe’s Lounge. Featuring artworks that are under 6” x 6” in a variety of mediums and styles, these tiny pieces are available to be taken home immediately after purchasing for a set price of $40, making them the perfect gift or souvenir.
