AZO GOLD

Veronica Aimone, Teressa L. Bernard, Sandy Kay, Jane Richardson and Lori Sokoluk

This exhibition showcases the work of five artists, ranging from acrylic and mixed media paintings to bronze and steel sculpture, all originating from the idea of ‘gold’. Utilizing the transparency of watercolour, the reflective glow of patina, metallic pigment and leaf, or nickel azo gold paint muted to soft neutrals, the works in this exhibition will all feature some aspect of ‘gold’, and explore the connotations and possibilities that it holds for ourselves and our culture.
