Meet-the-artist event, Saturday, March 04 from 2pm – 4pm. Everyone is welcome.
Celebrating Black History Month in February, Gibsons Public Art Gallery (GPAG) is hosting a salon-style exhibition with Lower Mainland artist Teri Ejere and the local Black History Month Collective.
Teri is a self-taught multi-disciplinary artist greatly influenced by her Nigerian-African background and interests in nature, history, mythology, people and their life experiences – including her own.
“I have a unique timeless style and I express art using whatever medium or forms I’m inspired to such as painting, music, fashion, dance, poetry, sculpture and crafts,” notes Teri. “I’m always inspired by the opportunity to translate everyday experiences and stories into art.”
