Field Tested | Rick Cepella

October 16 – November 10

Rick Cepella’s paintings are expressive reactions to the wild landscape as well as the human form, informed by countless hours of field work in the rugged backcountry of Western Canada.

‘My art is primarily an expressive reaction to and association with the wild landscape informed by much study of 1) the natural world 2) the human form and 3) the art of masters past and present. Painting will be dead when there are no more walls.’ ~ Rick Cepella

Eve Smart Gallery:

My Animal Friends | Jacquie Manning

October 16 – November 10

Jacquie Manning paints amazing animals encountered on trips to various countries around the world.

‘I have painted many subjects but I am always drawn to painting animals.  The West Coast of BC  is the primary influence on my art. Painting is one of my greatest joys!  The process of making paintings is an ongoing learning challenge for all artists, with each day’s work differing from the previous one.’ ~ Jacquie Manning
