In the Eve Smart Gallery, Dina Dune presents Sumi-e brush paintings.
“I am a painter and Sumi-e teacher.
The minimalist free style of my paintings has its roots in the Asian Brush Technique of Sumi-e and its philosophy. After having studied Calligraphy and Asian Painting from Asian and Western teachers, I have deliberately moved from traditional subjects. I now paint only what I know intimately and from my heart.”
Dina Dune hails from France and now calls Roberts Creek home.
