2025 Sponsor Opportunities
Gibsons Public Art Gallery (GPAG) is a unique registered charity, run by volunteers and backed by an amazing community. Unlike most public galleries, GPAG is not directly affiliated with any level of government and has been running successfully and independently since 2003.
Even though less than 10% of the gallery’s operating budget originates from public funding, 100% of our activities focus on the public realm. As per our vision and mandate, GPAG is a free, accessible community space with open doors to all – to share all forms of art and culture on the Sunshine Coast. We’re also a popular destination for the tourist industry and newcomers to the area with over 17,000 visits a year.
This year we were selected the People’s Choice Favourite Art Gallery on the Sunshine Coast for the fourth year in a row. We’re so grateful!
Why sponsor us?
Our exhibitions (over 20 per year) are graciously backed by corporate sponsorship which is recognized prominently. When you partner with the Gallery, you partner with the arts, a vital force in our community. Your business/brand will be featured on exhibition signage, posters, and advertising, and recognized at public events and receptions throughout the year. Curious about what’s in store for 2025? Sponsorship levels
We’re offering three levels of community/corporate sponsorship in 2025:
1. GPAG Community Partner — $1500 (Corporate/community sponsorship celebrated all year and named on our donor wall in the Gallery; plus recognition during a major exhibition; plus free gallery rental for a special event for your team/clients)
2. Main Gallery Sponsorship for one exhibition — $1000 (recognized on all exhibition publications, advertising and social media)
3. Eve Smart Gallery sponsorship for one exhibition — $500 (recognized on all exhibition publications, advertising and social media)
We’re also open to major sponsorships, in-kind and special collaborations. Let’s talk about your ideas!

The Gallery is grateful to the Town of Gibsons for its ongoing support. The Town helps the Gallery through an annual $2,000 budget line item, a municipal property tax waiver, and through special project assistance (like the Sunshine Coast Pavilion exhibition, and the installation of Squamish Nation art around the exterior of the gallery).
