In this one-day hands-on class artist Sandy Kay will demonstrate all the tools; how to blend, mix and layer the paints; how to mix paint and cold wax; and why it’s a most intriguing, joyful (and easy) way to paint! Sandy will demonstrate while you try the medium throughout the day in stages using the same materials and tools. You will leave with your very own painting and confidence in the techniques.
This workshop is limited to 10 participants and is open to all levels of skill and experience. Tickets for this workshop are $150 for GPAG members and $165 for non-members and can be purchased on EventBrite. Not a GPAG member? You can join or renew online or in person at the gallery. Bring your own supplies (check the supply list here) or Sandy will provide everything you need for the day for a small additional fee ($30; due at the session).
